Hello my lovely readers! I am so excited to be posting this outfit today and sharing some very exciting news with all of you. Not only do I have lots of new content to share with you soon, but also you’ll start to notice a shift in where my photo shoots will be occurring. I am moving back to Manhattan for good two weeks from today! I am chasing my dream of working in fashion out there and could not be more thrilled.

I am also excited to talk denim and this chambray dress on the blog today. For starters, all denim has been a thing this summer and is going to continue to be for fall. You can wear denim on denim. Chambray shirts, jackets, vests, you name it, you can do it.

I especially love this dress from Gap because for starters, it has pockets. Who doesn’t love a dress with pockets? I know I do. Also, the fact that it has a drawstring on the waist so it actually can flatter your figure and isn’t a shapeless box. Not to mention the buttons are a fun touch. Summer might be coming to a close, but a lot of places still have hot weather! I know Utah and New York do, so wear your dresses while you can before we have to start adding tights and boots!

Besides my denim obsession, comes my Kate Spade obsession. I literally wear these earrings almost every day, can’t survive without my planner, live out of this tote bag and wouldn’t ever know what time it is without my watch since my phone is always dying.

I am a huge advocate for her products and the quality. She is the perfect combination of chic, feminine, empowering and of course, we should all, ‘Live Colorfully.’

I hope you all enjoy these last few weeks of summer as much as I know I will! I also hope this is some inspiration for those Labor Day parties and BBQs you’ll all be attending :)
